HealthHeit LLC is a veteran-owned provider vendored by Valley Mountain Regional Center, serving adults with developmental disabilities in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.
Mission
To provide person-centered, measurable, community-based support that helps adults with developmental disabilities build stability, skills, choice and greater independence.
Values
Choice
The person has a real voice in every decision about their life.
Dignity
Adult-to-adult, respectful, free of unnecessary control.
Independence
We look for chances to increase capability without withdrawing needed support.
Accountability
Services have a purpose and progress is observable.
Collaboration
Families, coordinators, providers and natural supports work best with clear communication.
Community
Independent living includes belonging, relationships, participation and opportunity.
Licensed residential care homes
HealthHeit is planning licensed residential care homes for adults who need 24-hour support. This is a future service line and is not offered until California Community Care Licensing and regional center requirements are complete. Our aim is the same as everywhere else we work: the right level of support, and a path toward more independence.
Program leadership
HealthHeit is led by a team that knows this work from the inside. Our story began years ago in direct support, in people's homes, and that is where our passion for this community took root. We know what this work asks of staff and what it means to the people they support.
Our leadership also brings years of health research experience, which gave us a simple standard: good intentions are not enough. What matters is what you can measure and show. We built our documentation and outcome system from the ground up on that standard, so every support is recorded honestly and each person's progress toward independence is visible to them and their planning team.
HealthHeit is veteran-owned. Our goal for every person we support stays the same: to do a little more on their own, in their own home, on their own terms.
